Description
The FC 1 MK II F.E.T. Condenser Microphone from Golden Age Project features a large-diaphragm condenser design housed in a durable brass body. It offers a fixed cardioid pattern and an internally switched 100 Hz high-pass filter. There is a wide frequency response and a large dynamic range for versatility, enabling use of the microphone in studio, stage, and broadcast recording applications. The mic has a sweet-sounding top end, and its high SPL capabilities allow it to cleanly capture loud sources. Its output transformer is adept at handling bass and provides the mic with a fat-sounding bottom end. The FC 1 MK II can be used with vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, other fretted instruments, and as a drum overhead or room mic. The package includes a spider-style shock mount.
